A friend of mine's brother in Hawaii shot a short film entitled "The Studly Coalition." I'll let you read about it on the site, but suffice to say my client is a man of many talents and enough business acumen to realized that he would need a website for the movie if he ever hoped to sell it. Having never before worked on a movie website I was happy to join the project.

A quick look around at other movie websites shows that a normal movie site is either done Flash or it's extremely graphics heavy. I let the client know that I'd be no use to him if he wanted something along those lines, but I could help him create a clean, easy to use site that would let folks know what his movie was about with a minimum of fuss. Luckily he agreed with me.

The design of this site is based primarily off of the DVD packaging, which had already been completed by the time I was on board. This is the Synopsis page for the movie that basically mirrors what is written on the back of the DVD package.

The Pictures page leads to two different slide shows.

One of the many things I learned building this site was how to implement a PHP slide show for the pictures. I found a free PHP slide show that had already been built, and customized it to fit within the site.
